Jonathan Duck (27) is an average guy with big dreams. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, which is also where he still lives with his wife. He spends his time working, socializing, and reading (when there is the time). He enjoys writing short articles that are featured both on this website and on MOCA Jacksonville's blog page.
Duck is the Preparator for the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (2013 - Present). It is his responsibility to bring MOCA's curatorial ideas to life. In his time at MOCA, Duck has developed a system for rendering exhibitions with 3D, digital models, worked with internationally known artists to create site specific installations, and implemented the use of cutting edge computer software to increase the efficiency of complex curatorial tasks. He has also established himself as the top contributor to MOCA Jacksonville's blog.
